Department of Neuroscience
The University of Wisconsin-Madison has a longstanding tradition of excellence in Neuroscience. The faculty are experts in their field in areas of cellular, molecular and systems neuroscience from basic to translational research.
- Scholar must have a passion for neuroscience and a desire to pursue a doctoral graduate program in neuroscience.
- Faculty mentor must be from the Department of Neuroscience (Current Neuroscience Department Trainers)
- Funding to attend 1 national conference

Cancer Center
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Cancer Center is committed to cutting-edge cancer research.
- Scholar must have a passion for cancer biology research and intend to pursue a doctoral graduate degree (MSTP interested applicants are also acceptable)
- Faculty mentor must be a member of the Cancer Center
- Scholar is expected to attend the Cancer Center weekly symposium
- Cancer Center Trainee Society events
Morgridge Institute for Research
- Scholar must demonstrate curiosity and excitement for science and intend to pursue a doctoral graduate degree in the biomedical sciences
- Faculty mentor must be a member of the Mogridge Institute (Current Morgidge Institute Trainers)
